Karmaleon support
Karmaleon is a private reflection app for iPhone and iPad. You log what you did and how it helped or harmed people or animals, and see where your karma stands.
Contact
Write to support@4donsoft.com. It helps to include:
- your device and its iOS or iPadOS version;
- the app's version, which the Settings app shows under General, iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage), Karmaleon;
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
Sync between devices
Your actions sync through iCloud between the iPhones and iPads signed in to the same iCloud account. Sync runs while Karmaleon is open: when you launch it, after each change you make, and when you tap Sync now in the app's Settings. If a change from another device hasn't appeared, tap Sync now. The iCloud card there shows where sync stands.
Without iCloud, everything except sync works, and your actions are kept only on that device and in its backups. Deleting the app then deletes them.
If you sign in to a different iCloud account on the device, sync pauses. Your actions stay on the device and don't go to the new account. Sync resumes when you sign back in to the original account. The app can't move your actions to another account.
App Lock
In the app's Settings, turn on App Lock to ask for Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode when you return to Karmaleon. Your device needs a passcode for this. Once App Lock is on, a menu below it lets you choose This device, or All my devices via iCloud to share the setting with your other devices. A device set to This device keeps its own setting.
Buying and refunds
Karmaleon is a paid app. To install it on another device or again, sign in to the same Apple Account and download it from your purchases in the App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Deleting your data
- An action: open it, tap Delete action, then Delete. It leaves your other devices the next time Karmaleon syncs there. Its copy in your iCloud account stays until you delete the app's iCloud data.
- Everything: delete the app from each device first, because a device that still has it uploads its actions again. Then open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, then Storage (or Manage Account Storage). Tap Karmaleon, then Delete Data from iCloud.
